Hey, girl! I’m Ashlea Hearn – fashionista always on the hunt for a sale, purse hoarder, collector of high heels that are too hard to walk in, wannabe world-class traveler (on a budget), international wine aficionado, certified foodie, music lover with a background in violin & piano, lover of juicy reality tv & early 2000s rom-coms (who likes to think her life’s biography in a movie is Legally Blonde LOL), avid dreamer, published fiction author who constantly lives in her head, collector of more books than one person can read in a lifetime, hater of all things fitness (but manages to drag herself to Orangetheory gym classes a couple times a week – the agony!), multi-talented & yet easily overwhelmed March Pisces, and just a girl trying to live her absolute best & most fabulous life.
In a fun yet daring twist to lifestyle blogs – and being the avid fiction writer and lover that I am – I wanted to write this one somewhat in relation to my novel’s chic twin billionaire heiresses: Madisyn & Marcelle Montevega. Madisyn is sassy and Marcie is sweet, but both are total baddies who lead lavish lives surrounded by luxury. Some may even call them “bougie,” as many of my own friends tend to call me, and of course, the twins’ personalities are very much so based off my own double personalities (I am a Pisces sun sign after all!) So, be on the look-out to references of both twins as you get to learn more about them (and myself!) and be sure to scroll down to read more! If you haven’t already, read my novel Genesis Mortalis, Book 1 of the Take It Trilogy to see the twins in full-fledge bada** mode.
Don’t worry – while references to my twins may be fiction, my tips & stories are the real deal for the fabulous girl on the go. So, strap on those super cute heels you never wear out (you know the ones! Or maybe you have a couple even like I do…), grab a glass of wine & come join us!
Sincerely,

Meet The Montevega Twins

You must be wondering – why are two different headshots of Zendaya in the place of where my fictional twin characters should be? Simple. Because I want Zendaya – who is SO fierce and SO fabulous – to play the Montevega twins when the Take It Trilogy movie series is created!
Want to help me convince Zendaya that she absolutely NEEDS to be cast in Genesis Mortalis the movie as Madisyn and Marcie? Shoot her agents a message below. Let’s make this movie happen!
Who is Madisyn Montevega? Madisyn, who absolutely never goes by Maddie, is spicy and unapologetically in charge. She is the evil genius behind their secret rogue organization UCOCA (United Capitalists Organized Crime Association). She is confident — nay, cocky — and absolutely must have things her way. Some call her personality “cold,” “ruthless,” “power-hungry” — though one could say she is simply highly focused and driven to achieving her goal: to take back the power she never had being raised as a boring, obedient, and well-behaved child of British billionaires.
Excerpt that best describes Madisyn:
Madisyn struts through the front doors of the Rossi car dealership in London — sporting a black, over-sized, designer blazer as a dress, with knee-high stockings and white, patent leather Prada sneakers — her air in its usual high ponytail, and her eyes masked by wide black, Gucci frames. She had once seen her mother wear the exact same outfit in a photo, except she had been wearing black sling-back pumps as she held on to the small hand of baby Mackenzie. Even back then, she had been the image of a powerful woman who was just starting a family but was never too afraid of her own sex appeal. This was the exact persona Madisyn had decided she would take on to run her own empire, when she wasn’t scaling mountains and infiltrating secret lairs of the world’ richest men, that is.
Unmoved by the breathtaking, two-story, glass building sparkling with luxury vehicles, she passes sixty-year-old Chadwick, the front desk man and long-time friend of her mother’s. “Top of the morning, Miss Madisyn,” he chimes.
“Chadwick,” she greets him coldly, without so much as a glance from underneath her tinted shades, focusing all her energy on the day ahead.

“
Who is Marcelle Montevega? Unlike her rather brash twin sister, Marcie is soft and quiet, preferring to keep her two-cents to herself. Don’t underestimate her though; she is highly intelligent and observant, a skill that allows to be just as lethal and therefore second-in-command in UCOCA’s hierarchy. Marcie is much more in tune to her emotions and feminine side, her underlying thoughts focused more on her growing crush for their childhood best friend Robbie Ancens than on planning missions. She is sometimes unsure of herself — although you could say that is mostly due to the fact that her twin is so quick to make decisions for the both of them.
Excerpt that best describes Marcie:
“Don’t you ever get scared?” she asks. “I mean, what would
they do to us… if they did find out? We’d go to prison or
something? Doesn’t it worry you that a detective is on to
us?” She lowers her voice. “What if they find out about
V’s brother?”
Madisyn grabs her twin by the shoulders. “No one is
smart enough to beat us,” she reminds her, narrowing her
eyes […] She winks at her sister and turns to leave.
Marcie watches her go, anxiously fiddling with her hands.
She didn’t know how her twin could be so sure all the time.
Mackenzie would be easy to keep quiet, but somehow, Marcie
couldn’t help thinking that their encounter with this detective
would not be the last, and that if they weren’t careful
enough, it might just ruin them.
Lurking behind a corner and watching Madisyn go,
Robbie steps inside the room. Marcie smiles warmly at him,
grateful to have someone who could take her mind off everything.
