Las Vegas
Las Vegas is kind of a second home for me. Not because I’m an insane party girl, although I do like to have a good time! It did help though that my parents owned a timeshare on the strip for quite a few years. Going to Vegas became more of an annual summer family trip to celebrate Fourth of July and my mom’s birthday on the first. But even once the pandemic hit and my family took off a few years, I definitely went back without them.
While there’s plenty of things to do with family in Vegas, it’s a very versatile city. I’ve gone for business trips and conferences, for my anniversary with my boyfriend, and with large groups of friends. But the most fun — and perks — came from hitting the town with just my girls.
It’s true that ladies really do have unlimited and free access to just about anywhere, but only if you know how to work the right connections. And don’t worry, girls, I’ll be spilling ALL the secrets to getting the hookup in my Vegas blogs. You can thank our fearless leader Karlie (pictured above in the middle of me and her sister — my boss babe business partner — Lindsey) for teaching us her ways and saving us a BUNCH of money.

And while Sin City might be known for its gambling, I tend to opt for other activities that don’t involve freely losing all of my money.
Of all the times I’ve gone back to this city, I’ve gambled twice. The first time was on the slots and I did somehow win $300 from $5 worth of quarters and bought a new Italian purse — score! But the second time, I wasn’t so lucky. I was with a group of six other couples, all of which were killing it and winning $700+ on roulette (including my boyfriend who won $2500); that time, I didn’t win a single dime and blew through hundreds of dollars, only to be left in the casino sad and alone, desperately trying to win it all back and failing miserably. Don’t be this gal.
Besides being able to drink and smoke cigars literally wherever you want, there’s almost too much fun to be had: day and night clubs, pool parties, raunchy shows or family-friendly spectacles, Fremont Street, shopping designer stores, eating all kinds of cuisine with various price options, checking out the many resorts and admiring the crazy views from the strip to name a few.
But enough chit-chatting. Get ready to book your flight and let your friends know — it’s Vegas time, baby! Dive into the blog below to find out my favorites places and things to do in Vegas, where to stay, how to have fun on a budget or for no money at all, and so much more.
